Obituary of Beverley June ELDER

ELDER - Beverley June passed away suddenly Thursday, December 3, 2015 at the age of 77 years after a short battle with cancer.
She is survived by her loving children, daughter Joanne Smith; son David Elder (Leslie) and daughter Judy Iwacha (Paul); and granddaughters, Kim, Heather and Paige; along with her 3 sisters and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband John in 2002.
Born in Claresholm Alberta on June 7, 1938, Bev went to school in Stavely and moved to Calgary with John to raise a family shortly after. She had a passion for life and people, was a devoted member of the United Church and spent many wonderful years in the Calgary Girl Guide movement.
Bev will be remembered most for her beautiful garden, kind heart, warm smile and giving nature.
A Service of Remembrance will be held at Woodcliff United Church, 5010 Spruce Drive S.W. on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of one's choice would be appreciated.
