Connie: I only met your Dad on a couple of occasions, but I echo Brent's praise for your dedication to your parents. Your father had to have been a wonderful man, to have jointly raised a daughter as devoted to her parents as you were. I know you will enjoy your many happy memories of them both, Connie .

Sincerest condolences to Connie and family. Bill was a good friend and mentor. I spent many happy times in his company. He was a visionary and an optimus and always ahead of his time. He loved playing cards and was sharp as a tack even towards the end. He touched and helped a lot of people in his long life

Although Bill Miskew was the grandfather to my sister-in-law Tracey my family, myself, my wife Coleen and our daughter Rachel got to know Bill and wife Lucienne quite when they lived in Edmont6on east of the Londonderry Mall. They treated Rachel like a granddaughter. We would go up to their house for dinner or just to visit. Sometimes they would call us and say they had back presents for Rachel from Calgary so we would drive up to see them. We enjoyed our visits very much. I always enjoyed talking to Bill and hearing his stories. I will miss him. He lived a long, full and good life.

William "Bill" and his wife Lucienne were absolutely huge supporters of my family. They loved our girls (Katie Rae and Alexandra Lucienne) and regularly made the trip from Edmonton to Calgary to see us. Their cooler was always full of food and Lucienne's amazing baked goodies.
Bill told many stories of his times hunting, fishing, and raising his family. His recipe for beans included brandy. The tales got taller with each telling. He hosted my friends and I when we attended the Grey Cup in Edmonton.
Bill was an Oilers fan and we both cheered for the Maple Leaf.
We are richer for having known Bill - his generosity, his tall tales and his support are some of the memories we cherish.
I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the 4+ years of care and support that Connie provided to Bill. Connie - you devoted yourself to your dad's well being. We watched and learned and we praise you for your dedication to your parents.
