I am one of the many babies Dr. Khare delivered here in Prince George, he remained my mothers physician until he left his practice. Our hearts and minds will be with you tomorrow as you celebrate this kind and gentle man. It was an honour to be his patient and to know him.

I remember Dr Khare as our family physician for over 30 years, the one who delivered our two daughters and who was always there to attend to minor medical issues when needed. To me he was also a friend whom I respected and liked as a person, a friend who always had time to chat and was genuinely interested in what was happening in our lives.
To Kanak and Vandana, Vineeta and Veera especially I wish you strength during this difficult time.
For me, I will look back to knowing Umesh as a caring friend and a unique and special person I had the privilege of knowing. Rest in peace my friend.

I have many memories working in the delivery room in Prince George with Dr. Khare....always a gentleman. I also have a very vivid memory of being a little girl and trick or treating in Vanderhoof. When the door opened Dr & Mrs. Khare were standing there giving out apples. I thought the door had opened to a real true princess. I had never seen anyone in traditional Indian clothing. I told that story to Dr. Khare after a middle of the night delivery and he was beaming. Always very proud of his wife and family. He will be missed but lived a long and wonderful life.

We are very saddened by the loss of Umesh unclejee. He was a remarkable man who had an incredible life and a wonderful and supporting wife and beautiful children. He will be missed by everyone in Prince George. It is a great loss for all of us and for our community. You are all in our prayers.

Dr. Khare was a very close friend of my parents Carol and Ted, he delivered all 3 of my children, doctored them when needed, and always asked after them when he was with our family on social occasions, and there were many. His life wove in and out of ours in many different ways. He was a very special man, and a pillar to his family. He will be missed by many. Our condolences go out to his entire family. Mrs. K, Veera, Vineeta, and Vandana, all strong women, our thoughts are especially with you. John and Cari Burke.
