Alice, I just heard of Allin's last adventure over beer with Connie today - after the ring ceremony. I am torn between delight that he went out at full speed, and dismay that his laughter is not something we can look forward to again. The lovely looks and camaraderie the two of you shared so frequently and so openly with Council colleagues were a great treasure. I think many of us looked up to and learned from the easy harmony that both of you found between the personal and professional, and between intellect and joyfulness. With my great affection and very high regards.

To the Folinsbee clan. My Mother (Genny)and Cath. were childhood friends and my father (Bill) and Bob Sr. were childhood friends. Bob and Cath, decided Genny and Bill belonged together so the four of them became lifetime friends. This resulted in the Folinsbee children visiting the Morrow children when we all lived in Edmonton. I can still remember the Folinsbee children with a bit of awe. They seemed to be quite worldly compared to us and infused with enthusiasm about life. All four were brimming with positive energy and were incredibly likeable. So this is a personal tribute to the memory of a special and talented young man who obviously grew into one of those men who appreciated every moment and spread his contagious joy of life and the outdoors to include his friends, family, and even long ago admirers like me. Be of good courage at this overwhelming time. Sincerely, Will (Billy) Morrow, Calgary, Alberta

As a former co-worker of Allin's, I always admired his generous and respectful regard for his more junior colleagues - a fine humility from a very senior member of his professional society. For those who knew him, I am sure he will be a standard for personal achievement, willingness to help and explain, and generosity of spirit. It was indeed my privilege to have worked with, and learned from him. 'Happy to meet, sorry to part, happy to meet again.' Tom Hamp
