Lucy Sherwood beloved wife of the Late Dale Arthur Sherwood of Calgary passed away on Monday, February 1, 2016 at the age of 91 years.
Lucy is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Pam Sherwood, Carolyn and David Scott and Gayle Thorburn all of Calgary, son and daughter-in-law Dennis and Joanne Sherwood; grandchildren, Sean (Hallie) Scott, Keven Sherwood, Sarah Thorburn, Spencer, Stacy and Jessica; sister Martha Hamar; sister-in-law Wendy Thackuk; as well as several nieces, nephews and friends of the deaf community.
She was predeceased by her parents, Mary and John Tkachuk, sister Ann Slevinsky, brother-in-laws Victor Slevinsky and Andy Hamar.
A Memorial Gathering will be held at CALGARY CREMATORIUM CHAPEL, 3219 – 4th Street N.W., (within the valley of Queen’s Park Cemetery.
