I am so sorry to hear of Dave's passing, my condolences to his family. I have fond memories of working with him in Edmonton. He had such a big heart, was a dedicated social worker, and always made us laugh with his stories. He will be missed by many.

I had the great honor of knowing and working with Dave for the past 2 years at Plaza 14. We are a small team and his absence is deeply felt! He and I shared many a "story" about the "old days" of Social Work. It was a pleasure to have known Dave! He was such a kind soul with the kind of dedication not often see outside the realm of our profession. We shall miss him greatly! Deepest and heartfelt condolences to Dave's family and friends. May your good memories help you through this very difficult time.

To Dave's family..
I want to tell you what a lovely man Dave was to work with. He will be so missed at our office. His funny stories, gentle humour and kind soul were my fortune to experience over the past few years. He was a dedicated social worker and always went over and above to ensure the families he worked with felt supported.
My prayers are with your family, God bless you all and give you comfort in this time of loss.

Dear David's family,
We are saddened to hear the sudden death of David. I met him in our training workshops. David was a dedicated, hard working social worker, had a big heart for the clients he worked with. I really enjoyed his humor and laughter, his wisdom sharing lighted me up. David's past services for families provide a footpath for us to follow and to work and move on.
During this difficult time, our hearts are with your family. Please don't hesitate to tell us anything we can help.
God Bless.

I knew David from back in the 1970 when we both works summers as counsellors at Gull Lake Baptist. David would know me as Susan Robey. Carroll is my married name.
We were young and had so much fun. David was one of the first men I loved. He was so easy to talk to and always put you at ease.
My prayers and thoughts are with you and even though David and I had not contacted each other in years I will always remember him with love.
