Obituary of Charles Kenneth HANDY

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Charles Kenneth Handy beloved husband of Carole Handy of Calgary, AB on Sunday, March 20, 2016 at the age of 75 years. Ken, a native Calgarian, was a member of the Calgary Police Service for 27 years and upon retirement spent as much time camping as he could. He took particular joy in spending time with his grandchildren and lit up when they entered the room. Ken will be forever loved and remembered by his loving wife, Carole; daughter, Marlis and her son Adam; son, Blair and his daughters Casey-Jo and Carly; step-son Greg (Amber) Heath and their son Liam as well as his sisters Margaret Conley, Beatrice Lyon and Ada Hall; brothers, Robert “Bob”(Merle) Handy and Larry(Sharon) Handy; sister-in-law Betty Handy as well as several extended family members and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Hugh and Fran Handy and his brother Don. A Celebration Ken's Life will be held at the Calgary Crematorium Chapel (within the valley of Queen's Park Cemetery) on Wednesday, March 29, 2016, at 2:30PM.
