Obituary of Siro Paul POLETTI

Siro “Poncho” Paul Poletti, passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2016, at the Foothills Medical Centre, at the age of 80 years.
He was born on July 18, 1935 in Asolo, Italy and immigrated to Canada in 1955 at the age of 20. Siro worked as a cement finisher in the city of Calgary until his retirement. He enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing, winemaking and pigeon racing.
He was predeceased by his wife Helen, and his son Tony.
Siro was a real character, who has left many impressions on everyone he met.
A Memorial Service will be held at CALGARY CREMATORIUM CHAPEL, 3219 – 4th Street N.W., (within the valley of Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at _Eden Brook Memorial Gardens, Lower Springbank Road and 17th Avenue S.W.
Siro would like to extend his thanks and appreciation to Dr. Cenabre and the amazing Staff at the Brentwood Care Centre; and especially to his special friend and companion, Joan, whose compassion and love was so important to him.
