My deepest sympathy to the family.
I was a Grade 7 student of Mr Wiessenberg at William Latter School in Chambly in 1971. He was a wonderful teacher who taught with stories, antidotes and history. He was also my older brother's and sister 's teacher too. My mother was a Czech German war survivor and they had talks, of what I don't know, but were friends. They could understand each other because of the history they shared. He was a teacher I never forgot.
My deepest sympathy from all our family.

To the family of Henry Weissenberger:
In January, 1964, I arrived in Henry Weissenberger’s Grade V class for my very first practice teaching session. I was a green but keen 20-year-old. Henry showed me the ropes, gave me the confidence to feel that I was not only fit to teach, but to do so in a tough neighbourhood like that of Mackayville. From the Fall of 1964 to the Spring of 1966, I taught Grade V at Royal Arthur School in Little Burgundy, then went back to university to complete my B.A. I have since worked at all levels of education and in various community organizations. I know where I got my start.
Your father clearly lived life to the fullest, even in very difficult circumstances.
