Obituary of Betty Aileen QUANCE

It is with great sadness the Quance family announces the passing of Betty Quance, beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother on Sunday, July 31, 2016 at the age of 90 years.
Betty was born and raised in Burnham, England where she excelled at athletics and academics. Betty married Charles in Burnham, England during his service in the World War II. Upon their return to Canada the young family first lived in Morrin, Alberta before moving to Calgary in the early sixties. She was a valued employee at the Bank of Montreal and the Hudson’s Bay Company.
Betty is survived by her loving daughter and son-in-law Sandra and Barry Jensen; daughter-in-law Susan Quance; grandchildren Christian (Nicole) Jensen, Lisa (John) Hettle, Bryan (Jenilee) Quance, Robyn (Glen) Hay; as well as numerous great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her son Daniel in 2011 and husband Charles 2012. Her family would like to thank all staff at the Holy Cross Manor for their care and kindness.
A Memorial Services will be held at CALGARY CREMATORIUM CHAPEL, 3219 – 4th Street N.W., (within the valley of Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Friday, August 12, 2016 at 2:00 p.m.
