Phyllis passed away at 12:55pm on Sunday, August 21, 2016 at The Agape Hospice surrounded by her family and friends. Phyllis was 86 years old.
Phyllis is survived by her partner Alan White; her son and daughter-in-law Dan and Shannon Roy; her daughter and son-in-law Diane and Reed Berryhill; her grandchildren Nolan, Anai, Daniel, and Thomas; as well as her brother Harvey Goebel and his wife Marion.
Phyllis was best known for her generous spirit and giving heart. She volunteered for over 20 years at The Owl Boutique in the Kerby Centre donating over 10,000 hours of her time. She also contributed her time to The Hillhurst Sunnyside Community Center and was known for her baked goods and easy smile. Phyllis was gracious and loving and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her!
Funeral Services will be held at CALGARY CREMATORIUM CHAPEL, 3219 – 4th Street N.W., (within the valley of Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 2:00p.m.
