Obituary of Heather FINNEY

Finney, A. Heather (nee Brown) March 19, 1940 Calgary, Alberta September 11, 2016 Calgary, Alberta Heather Finney, loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, passed away peacefully after a brief battle with cancer. Heather spent many years running a busy household and will always be remembered as the rock of our family. She was always there for us. Heather and Jim loved traveling. Trips to destinations throughout Canada, the United States and Europe together as well as our family vacations to Hawaii were great memories and that always put a smile on her face. A hard working, dedicated business woman, Heather worked along side Jim at Finney-Taylor Personnel for many years. She enjoyed her time at Reid Crowther and Royal Host Hotels. Heather liked meeting and visiting with people and held her friends in the highest regard. Heather is survived by her brother, Craig (Sheila); daughter, Karen (Barry); sons, Bradley and Jim Jr.; and grandchildren, Aislinn, Liam and James. Heather is predeceased by her parents, Iris and Gordon Brown; her daughter, Krista and her beloved Jim, husband of 43 years. A wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many, she will be missed. We love you so much Mum.
