Our most heartfelt, sincere condolences. My dad called Gurdev his "closest friend" when they were children. This loss hits us all hard. But he was an incredible man, and created an incredible family. He still lives on through us and we will see him again one day.

Dear Upinder and family,
We are shocked and sadden to hear of Gurdev's passing.
I have many fond memories working with Gurdev. Gurdev always said, "If you can think it, it can be done." He was a man of many talents and enjoyed the challenges of his job. Gurdev was always a gentleman; never a bad word about anyone.
We had the pleasure of attending a Diwali Celebration at the Strathcona Centre with Gurdev and enjoyed a wonderful evening of entertainment and foods of your culture. Gurdev also invited me to accompany him to India on one of his visits, I wish I had been more adventurous and taken him up on his offer.
We are unable to attend the service on Sunday but your family will be on our minds and in our prayers.
We will remember him fondly,
