Phyllis Smith of Calgary, AB, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 12, 2016 at the Foothills Medical Centre surrounded by her loved ones at the age of 83 years.
Phyllis was born on October 23, 1933 in Grand Manan to Paige and Julia Guptill. She was united in marriage to Herbert A. Smith on June 5, 1954 in Baden, Soellingen, Germany.
Phyllis dedicated her life to her career in nursing, as well as to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Phyllis had a great love for travelling, laughter and family gatherings. Her love of life, will be missed by her friends and ever growing family.
Phyllis was predeceased by her husband Herb in 2005.
Phyllis will be interred beside her husband at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Edmonton.
