Obituary of Eileen Elizabeth MORICE

Please share a memory of Eileen to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Eileen Elizabeth Morice, beloved wife of James Wayne Morice, passed away peacefully with her family by her side in the early hours on Friday, April 14, 2017 at the age of 72 years. Eileen was best known for her loving and nurturing voice of reason. She had a love of cooking, films, and books. However, she loved nothing more than her family; she always put them first and would go out of her way to make everyone feel special and cared for. She never wanted anyone to make a “fuss” about her, but she would always bend over backwards for others. Eileen’s last words whispered to her daughters were “I’ll be fine”. Besides her husband Wayne, Eileen is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Leanne Catherine and Jim Stroh, and Heather Kyla and Jeff Laird; grandchildren Arthur James Van Meeteren, Sara Rose Eileen Van Meeteren, and Carter James Laird; siblings Frederick James Free, Robert John Free, Linda Ann Free, Rita Kathleen Free, Brett Patrick Free, and Joanne Lee Wozniak; as well as aunt Gwynneth Eileen Morice. Eileen was predeceased by her parents Willam John Free and Mary Eileen Free, and by her in-laws James Francis Morice and Mary Laurena Morice. “She lived to the edge of life Unsustainable life She created and loved two beautiful spirits She loved and nurtured her life's partner She loved and nurtured her siblings She loved and nurtured others She will be fine” Beautiful words written by family friend Ken Curley
