Obituary of Douglas George KENNEDY

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Doug Kennedy, surrounded by his family, on Monday, January 30, 2017 at the age of 66 years.

Doug was born in Oshawa, Ontario in 1950. He and Johnny  were the second set of twins to join the Kennedy family. He earned his Bachelors degree in Commerce at St. Mary's University in Halifax and enjoyed a 25 year career with McNeil Consumers in Winnipeg, Edmonton and Calgary. Doug will forever be remembered for his charm and winning smile.

Doug is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Ashely and Darren; his first grandchild Quinlan; his son Matthew; his daughter Dianna; Margie and Norbert; his siblings Patricia, Penelope, Joe and their families.

He was predeceased by his parents, John and Georgia and his brother John.

A Celebration of Doug's life will be held at the Springbank Heritage Club, 244168 Range Rd., Calgary,  (403) 242- 9350  on the anniversary of his birth, Saturday, May 27, 2017 at 2:00pm.  Reception to follow.
