Obituary of Marvin MOREY

Marvin passed away peacefully on Friday, May 26, 2017 at the age of 85 years, after an aggressive but very courageous battle with cancer.

Marvin was born in Winnipeg, MB, and spent some time in both Calgary and Vancouver as a young man.  During this time, he met Doreen and chose Calgary to raise his family.  Marvin had a long distinguished career in the transportation industry.  Marvin worked for Canada Packers, Oldham Transport and Byers Transport.  He was also known to be a well respected businessman, whom made many friends along the way.

He is lovingly remembered by sons and daughters-in-law Tracy and Ilene, and Kevin and Denise, as well as his grandchildren Amanda, Austin, Jolan, Peyton and Connor.

He was predeceased by the love of his life Doreen in 2012.

At Marvin's request a private family and friends gathering will be held at Kevin and Denise's residence on Friday, June 9, 2017 at 2:00 pm. Please forward condolences through www.calgarycrematorium.com
