Obituary of Manjit Singh DHALIWAL

Manjit Singh Dhaliwal of Calgary, AB, passed away on Friday, July 28, 2017 at the age of 59 years.

Manjit was a loving and supportive father with a great sense of humour. He had a love for hockey, football and was an avid Flames and Stamps fan. Manjit was accustomed to hard work, which led him to complete thirty years of service with CP Rail and retire early. He taught his children the value of hard work and perseverance, which provided a foundation for their goals. During his time off, he enjoyed staying active at the gym, maintaining his garden and visiting the Gurudwara.

Manjit is survived by his children Princy, Gagan, Anup, Mickey, Vineet, and Navi; siblings Surinder, Ajmer, Harjinder, and Jaswinder; as well as grandson Viraj.

Funeral Services will be held at CALGARY CREMATORIUM CHAPEL, 3219 - 4 Street N.W., (within the valley of Queen's Park Cemetery) on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 10:00 a.m.  Prayers to follow at Dashmesh Culture Centre (Martindale).
