Paul Marvin Brodeur of Calgary, AB, passed away on Friday, July 28, 2017 at the age of 39 years.

Paul was born on March 23, 1978 at Grace Hospital in Calgary.  He grew up in Bowness, where he attended Belvedere Parkway Elementary and Thomas B. Riley Jr. High School and Bowness High School.  After graduating from Bowness High School in June of 1996, he worked for many companies, before his long-term employment with The City of Calgary Water Services in 2005.  Paul loved watching all his sports, the NFL, soccer and hockey.  He was a collector of sports jerseys.  He also worked on the side with his father and had planned to take over the business this year.  Paul was a real hard worker, who was trying to make a better life for his kids. He was the best dad ever to his daughter Eva.  He loved his family.  He was always thinking about his kids, his nieces and parents.  Paul loved having all the kids over for sleepovers with his children, or going camping with the whole troop.  Paul was also dating someone special he was hoping to have a future with.  He will be missed greatly by many friends, who all loved him.

He is survived by his daughter Eva Brodeur; his stepson Troy Langenhan; nieces Jade, Summer and Asha Abernethy; parents Laura and Richard Brodeur; and sister Jamie Brodeur (Andrew) Abernethy.
