Donald Raymond McMann, beloved husband of Doreen McMann of Calgary, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2013 at the age of 85 years.
Donald was a heavy duty mechanic and a long standing member of the Royal Canadian Legion No. 264. He was an avid camper and belonged to the Happy Wanderers trailer club for forty years. He also enjoyed curling for many years.
He is lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his wife, Doreen, of 60 years; his children Laurie (Gord) Larin and Shari McMann; grandchildren Sandra (Scott) Walker and Michael (Taryn McIlmoyle) Larin; great-grandchildren Sadie and Sammy; sister Pat (Arnold) Eaton; brother Gordon McMann; and sister-in-law Carole (Maynard) Esau. Donald was predeceased by son Leigh and brother Ken.
A Celebration of Life will be held at HERITAGE FUNERAL HOME, 1708 16th Avenue N.W. (across from the North Hill Shopping Centre, Calgary) on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. Please forward condolences through www.hffs.com.
