Wayne and Family,
Please accept our caring condolences. Our hearts and prayers are with you. Sorry that we cannot be at tomorrow's celebration of Olwen's life. What a wonderful life she has lived ! So many lives of children and families with special needs have been transformed through her caring and teaching. Indeed, everyone who had the good fortune to have their lives touched by Olwen is richer because of that contact.

I first met Olwen in the fall of 2000 when I was given a temporary teaching assignment at Louise Dean School and Olwen was the principal. Her kindness and faith in my abilities impacted my career and my personal life in a positive way. I will never forget the caring Olwen showed to staff and students.
I offer my condolences to Wayne and all family members. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

Wayne and family members. Our sincerest condolences on the passing of Owlen. my memories of her go back to my grade 9 science class at Connaught where she was a wonderful student and always thoughtful of others. Her contributions to education programs in Calgary and her support for students and colleagues will be remembered by many.

Dear Wayne,
I was saddened to hear of Olwen's passing. We had worked together for many years in the Vision Department of CBE and I always remember her as a compassionate and thoughtful colleague who was genuinely concerned about students and staff. I think back now of our long time together with the other Vision Strategiests and remember what a fine person she was.
