Obituary of Lorraine Virginia PROCTER

Lorraine, beloved wife of Richard Procter of Calgary, AB passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at the age of 78 years.

Lorraine attended high school in Edmonton, followed by nurse’s training at the Edmonton General School of Nursing.  Upon graduation, Lorraine relocated to Calgary, and began her nursing career as an Inservice Coordinator with the Salvation Army Grace Hospital Women’s Health Centre.  Lorraine furthered her education and obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Calgary, where she stayed on as a nursing instructor.

Besides her loving husband, Richard, she is also survived by children Shawn, Michael (Cheryl), Barbara (Hank), Ward (Debbie); grandson Dylan; as well as sister Alice Marchuk.

In keeping with Lorraine’s personal wishes cremation has taken place. Relatives and friends are invited to a Gathering to celebrate Lorraine’s life at CALGARY CREMATORIUM CHAPEL, 3219 – 4th Street N.W., (within the valley of Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Friday, January 5, 2018 from 1:00 pm to 3:00pm.  Please forward condolences through www.calgarycrematorium.com
