Obituary of Constance "Connie" Doreen CASEY

It is with great sadness and many wonderful memories that we say goodbye to our cherished Mother and Aunt.

Connie was born and raised in Winnipeg.  She worked at the Royal Bank in Winnipeg for three years and always prided herself to balance all her ledgers.

She met Walter at the Tobbins Athletic Club where they attended many dances and outings.  They were married in June 1946; and moved to Calgary in 1949.

Connie, Walter and the boys enjoyed many train trips on the CPR Dominion visiting relatives in Winnipeg and Vancouver.  In later years they enjoyed meeting Joan and her family in BC on a camping holiday.

Connie loved her crafts and will always be remembered for her love of cooking; her excellent pot roast; and always having a delectable dessert to end the meal.

She is lovingly remembered by her two sons and daughters-in-law Brian and Shirley, and Lorne and Loane; sister Joan and brother-in-law Ray, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Connie was predeceased by her husband of sixty-three years Walter in 2009; her infant daughter and brothers Ray and Larry.
