Margot and Family,
I was shocked and saddened to hear of Larry's passing. I'll always remember his enthusiasm for life and his love for his family (especially his grandchildren). He always had a story about what the grandkids were up to, and it was clear that he loved to show them off. A conversation with Larry could always turn a bad shift into a good one, and he was one of the few customers I missed after leaving Denny's.
I'm sure he's sitting at a "hobo counter" somewhere, drinking another cup of coffee and making friends with everyone around him.

Dear Cindy,
Larry was not someone whom I knew personally, he was the brother of my best friend. I thought about Larry every morning and every evening and always sent good thoughts and bright light. He fought a grueling battle of Cancer and in my eyes and so many others he was and still is a hero. He had a smile that lit up a room and he really did live life to its fullest. He always had a positive attitude and his love for others was cherished by all. He touched so many peoples lives and never burdened anyone with what he was going through in his own life of pain. I still think about him and what comes to mind is that he is in his new world now with all his loved ones having breakfast at Dennys.
