Dear Lane, Nathalie, Curtis, Chrissy and your families
I'm so sorry to hear that Lucille has passed. My husband Kevan and my two children, Jessie and Jeanine had the privilege to have Lucille in our lives for many years. (I met Lucille 25 years ago at Maple Leaf Foods.)
She was a rock; a no nonsense type....unless she was intentionally goofing around kind of lady. I loved her as my mentor, my friend; and she was a surrogate grandma to my children for many years.
She was my date on many work functions; and I hers for a number of years. We giggled our faces off at some of the ridiculous situations we found ourselves in.
She lamented when I met my husband, "There goes my Sunday night dinner!" in only the way Lucille would! She loved it when my son would say, "Hi Sexy!". (He was about 13 at the time!) She just beamed.
She was the friend that we might not chat for months; but when we reconnected it was as though we didn't miss a beat. I only regret that it has been too many months; and I'm just finding out today that I have lost such a dear friend.
I am crestfallen. I can only imagine how you must miss her.
She was kind gentle and one of the most genuine people you rarely come across.
She will be deeply missed; and I am ever so sorry for your loss.
Sincerely,
Tricia Barker

I am so sorry for your familie’s loss. I so enjoyed Lucille as we were in the same classes at the YMCA. We had many fun
times and good laughs, but most of all I will remember her beautiful smile.

I feel blessed to have had Lucille as my friend. I will miss our Monday afternoon tea dates, the giggles we shared, and all of the world problems we solved. She was always up for an adventure. To her family, I hope you are able to wrap your arms around all of your beautiful memories and find some comfort there. She loved her family so much and had so much joy from each one of you. Rest In Peace my dear friend. Namaste.
