Obituary of Laszlo "Leslie" NORCZEN

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved ‘Papa’ on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at the age of 82 years after a courageous battle with a prolonged illness.

Les was a kind, generous, hard-working man whose compassionate nature touched the hearts of many. He will live forever in our hearts and will never be forgotten.

Les is survived by his devoted wife of 60 years, Maria; his son and daughter-in-law Leslie and Irene; his daughter and son-in-law Monica and Michael; his daughter Suzanne; grandchildren Sean, Jordan, Ryan, Scott, and Sheena (Ryan); his great-grandchildren Spencer, Parker and Caleb; his two brothers in Hungary, Gyozo (Maria) and Istvan (Katalin) along with their respective families; his brother-in-law Steve (wife Karen and their children); as well as his lifelong friend Bela (and his wife Margit).

Les was predeceased by his cherished firstborn daughter Marika, his parents (Viktor and Gizella), as well as his sister Eva.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church (819 – 13th Avenue S.W., Calgary, AB) on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 1:00 p.m.   Reception to follow at the church hall.  Please forward condolences through www.calgarycrematorium.com
