It's with great sadness that Dianne Rogers SMITH - 1936 - 2018 - passed away suddenly.
Dianne is my mother in law, and a terriffic grandmother for my three children. Dianne is survived by her devoted husband Richard, of Calgary Alberta, her son Scott, a daughter-in-law Debby, and three grown grandchildren. "Thomas, Jilian and Meghan", all residing in Calgary, Alberta."
Dianne played a very active role in my children's lives during their formative years, after my divorce.
She had an effervescient and bubbly personality; she was very outgoing, and she thoroughlly enjoyed spending time with her grand-kids. She was a blessing in disguise, and filled our home with joyful laughter, after my divorce. We had many water fights in my large yard, we played lots of basketball, in the back yard, and had lots of rebuilding parties at our home. My ex-husband and I have remained good friends for many years now. Dianne remarried Richard; a terrific guy that she met while doing volunteering at the airport. He's a wonderful man, and I'm thankful she's had lots of wonderful memories to share with Richard, over the years.
