I can't believe that it has been over a month ago that we heard the heart-breaking news that Trevor will no longer be our Knight in Shining Armour through our travels on the highway. I fall upon great memories of him with smiles and laughter, but also feel sorrow for the time I was not allowed to spend with him. God called His child back to let him frolic in His kingdom with the joy that no earthly feeling could bring. Trevor definitely deserves to be without pain and suffering because he most exemplified generosity and kindness. He is in God's most loving and caring hands. I know that time has passed and some of my pain has diminished, but there is still the helpless feelings of "If I only spent more time talking with Trevor" or "I really wanted to let him know....". Time is an enemy of ours sometimes, but we have to take our speed bumps in life and leave our troubles to God. I will always treasure my moments with Trevor and know that an angel walked among us. Miss you lots!

We were deeply saddened to hear about the loss of Trevor. He has been a crucial part of our lives for many years now driving our children, Freeman and Keira, safely to and from Ascension of Our Lord School. It was always such a comfort knowing that our children were in such caring and responsible hands. Trevor consistenly greeted everyone he met with a smile and sincerely looked after his passengers. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family during this difficult time. We will miss your warm smile and compassionate ways, Trevor. ~ Sherry, David, Freeman and Keira Calgary, Alberta

We were so lucky to have Trevor as a driver for our Strathmore/Chestermere commuter. He was always so happy when he picked us up. We always knew that at the end of the day, no matter the weather, we would be home safely, all thanks to him. During the holidays, our bus participated in the adopt a family program. Trevor was always a huge supporter of this - he always had such a big heart and cared about the kids so much. (He didn't want the families to go without at Christmas). Everyday he shared with us his stories, his laughter and his goofy remarks, all of which will be missed by everyone that knew him. Trevor was not only our driver, he was our friend and I was lucky to have known him. Rest in Peace Trevor, you will be missed.

My heart aches for the loss of Trevor. I have been commuting on his bus for the past 2 years, and he became a part of everyone's life on the bus. He was always concerned for everyone's safety-a truly loving and genuine man who loved to chat, tell jokes, sing songs and put a smile on everyone's face. He definitely started and ended the day nicely for everyone. The rides everyday now will never be the same, and Trevor will never be forgotten. I miss him already. May he rest in peace, and one day we will reunite again. Sending my love to all the family during this hard time.

We are sorry for your loss. Trevor drove my kids to Ascension of our Lord School. My kids loved him and were disappointed if he missed a day. When I asked my son what he liked about Trevor he said "Well Mom, a lot of things but especially his kindness." They felt safe when Trevor was driving and I was comforted to know they were in his hands. He will be truly missed and never forgotten.

To all of Trevor's family, We were fortunate enough to have Trevor take our kids to school and back. He always had a smile and a wave for us. When our kids switched buses, he still had a smile and wave for us. He knew all the kids names, their stop and their parents. He knew he had our precious cargo on board and drove with upmost care and attention. I will always be looking for your smile and wave as I head up 14th street NW. You will me missed! A person who can capture the admiration of a child is a gift from God. Trevor took our children to and from school safely for 2 years. He was always waving and smiling and our children adored him, he even knew their names. They could count on him, so much so if Trevor wasn't driving my son didn't want to get on the bus. When my son heard the news of Trevor's passing he cried and then said he was my friend. Trevor you will be missed and prayed for we were blessed to know you. Condolences to the family. Trevor was a bus driver who transported students to our school twice a day. Trevor conducted himself in a professional manner while dealing with students. The students knew him and counted on him. If Trevor didn't pick them up at the end of the day, we heard “ where is Trevor ? “ and “ how come Trevor is not here ? “ He learned the names of all students and collected their belongings if left behind on the bus and would make a point to return the items. Trevor took notice of the student's winter outer clothes, if there was a jacket left on the sidewalk, Trevor knew the owner or a back pack. He cared about our students from our school and our community. He was conscientious , personable , friendly and punctual. He enjoyed his work and no matter the bad winter roads of our city, Trevor was diligent to arrive as soon as he could and pick up our students. He was a “ thumbs up “ bus driver ! The students and staff will miss him. Loretta McKenna—Teacher at Ascension of our Lord School, Calgary

So sorry to hear of Trevor's passing.
I grew up 2 houses down from the family, on Academy Drive in Acadia in the 60s and 70s.
Front yard football and road hockey; our neighborhood group was always outside and doing something.
Our deepest sympathy.

Trevor, You will remain a lighted candle in my heart. Random Acts of Kindness from Heaven rarely have personal names, however, I count myself blessed to have known you. To your family -- Torry, Neila, Debra and Timothy -- You do not walk alone, please know that all of you are loved and supported in this difficult time.
