Obituary of Reginald (Reg) Lorne KEELE

Reginald, beloved husband of Evelyn Keele of Calgary, passed away on Sunday, October 7, 2018 at the age of 77 years.

 

Reginald was born in Elm Creek, Manitoba and married Evelyn in 1965.  They lived in Winnipeg, Manitoba until 2000 when they moved to Calgary.

 

Reg worked his entire career with Prairie Reman Ltd. and retired as the Sales Manager.  Reg was a passionate photographer who was involved with the Winnipeg South Photo Club, the Foothills Camera Club and the Calgary Camera Club.  He shared this passion with Evelyn and they travelled North America from coast to coast by ground creating unique images.

 

He leaves to cherish his memory his two children, Sherry McCombe (Craig) and Calvin Keele, and his granddaughters, Jessica Holm and Fiona McCombe.  Reg will also be dearly missed by his sister-in-law, Lorraine Loran; brother, Sidney Keele (Reba); sister, Shirley Fehr; brothers, Ronald Keele (Margaret) and Herb Keele; brother-in-law, Clinton Yakiwchuk (Grace); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

 

Reginald was predeceased by his parents, Albert and Margaret Keele; his brother, Jack Loran; sister, Marlene Sealey; brothers-in-law, Glen Sealey and Ab Fehr; and sisters-in-law, Debbie Keele and Kim Devine. 

 

Reginald will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

 

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Centennial Branch #285, 9202 Horton Road SW, Calgary, Alberta on Saturday, October 20, 2018 from 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
