He was predeceased by his father, Arthur H. Hall and his mother, Ruby M. Hall (nee Brown).

He is survived by his only sister, R. E. J. (Betty) Hall. Bud is also survived by numerous cousins including the Hall, Brown, McDougall and Mc Kenzie families that hail from the Calgary area.

The Hall family, along with their relatives, are true pioneers in Western Canada. Bud entered the Oil and Gas Industry after obtaining his degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Oklahoma and a graduate in Business Administration at the University of California in Berkeley. His career led to his association with James Richardson & Sons, Dome Petroleum and Ranger Oil prior to starting his own companies, Sepic River Resources Ltd and A.G. Hall Consultants Ltd. He was a truly amazing individual and sportsman. He obtained his pilot’s license, enjoyed trophy hunting, he played singles tennis into his late 80’s and was forever a great Oklahoma Schooner’s fan. He also remained active in the stock market.

At Bud’s request no funeral or burial service will be held.

Special thanks to Scott, Tom, Kristy, Trish & Russell, Joyce, Alan & Shelly, Warren & Carrie, and Adrienne & Dave. Special thanks to the staff at Rockyview Hospital, they made him laugh.
