My condolences to Laurel on the passing of your husband, Jim. So very sorry to hear that he lost his fight with cancer. We know he is in a much better place, with no pain and his new body. Yet for his loved ones here, it is a sad time. Praying for you Laurel.

Laurel, Renee, cherished family and friends,
We will always remember Jim coming into our photo lab, ‘Alpha Graphics’ with his phenomenal B&W images.
His wonderful smile and great sense of humour brightened our days at least twice a week. Smile
Jim touched many lives with his images. He had the insight to capture the true essence of his subjects, the beauty in life, and world around him.
- Even his back yard was extraordinarily magical!
Jims kind, gentle soul will always be remembered…with a smile.
Our hearts are with you at this very sad time.

I have fond memories of Jim from a very young age around 10 or so... being that Jim and my oldest brother John were the best of friends. From some first times fly fishing with Jim and John at lake OHara to some serious trips to Montana or down the Bow.
Serious was getting up at 4am to be down the Bow near Carsland, walking down the huge Bow valley in the dark thru a herd of cattle that 1/2 way into found out that a huge bull was in. We had to run for our lives for a bit but we came out unscaved just to get a few casts in before the sun rise on the river. Jim knew to catch the big fish they were the early risers and you had to be there for that.
Jim was passionate about his fishing and photography, and was certainly an influence on my life.
I last saw Jim about 6 months ago and as usual shared some really great stories.
My condolences to Laurel and family.

Please accept my heartfelt sympathy on the loss of your loved one.
I'm sharing in your sadness as you remember Jim.
He was a wonderful smart and talented man I first met over 28 years ago at my workplace ...Alpha Graphics/Browarny Photographics. Jim was a profesdional at photography ! He would bring his negative film rolls in for development and printing.
I would look forward to printing his negatives because his work was outstanding! He always had an interesting story to share.
It has been well over 20 years since I last saw Jim.....
Please accept my deepest condolences.

Jim was my flyfishing mentor teaching me to fly fish when I was his pastor at Crescent Heights Baptist Church in the 80's and early 90's. We had many enjoyable fishing trips down the Bow River in an inflatable Metzler boat.We also travelled down to Monatana to fish the Rock River and to the Missouri R with other friends to catch the kokanee run there. He loved to fish. It was a great and relaxing past time for him. He will be missed and never forgotten. Much love to Laurel and Renee. God give you his peace and healing!
