I remember Ron all through my childhood. He spent a lot of time with my brother Eddie and brother Arn. He was a great kid and a lovely man.

Ron Boyd's family and friends, Manitoba Power Commission (MPC) days are my many years of pleasant association. Ron was my crew foreman as acted as his assistant. While building the farm electrical system Rod contracted Polio never to return as foreman but moved on to greater challenges with MPC in the Canada Building. Working at the same location it was a pleasure to pick and drop off Ron in Elmwood, for a period of time, as I was then in East St. Paul with MPC. Ron was instrumental in setting me on the correct path for a pleasant future with MPC now Manitoba Hydro. Thank you Ron for a pleasant past/career

Our condolences to you Helga and the family. Ron was a very kind, caring, and compassionate man. We always enjoyed our visits to Twin Beaches, Manitoba as well as any get togethers along with brother Arn and Rose. We were always made to feel very welcome, great food, great company and lots of fun times and laughs. Ron will be deeply missed.

I worked in the Manitoba Hydro safety department when Ron was the Director. He was a highly respected, compassionate man who was blessed with the ability to connect with all the people,including myself. I consider it having been a privilege to have known Ron as a boss as well as a friend.

My husband & I always enjoyed our visits when in Calgary with Ron & Helga. They were a very special loving couple that I always admired during my growing up years. Cousin Ron had the biggest smile & most wonderful laugh. His heart was always in the right place. His faith was strong through all of his struggles with polio.
