It's been 5 years today since you left us all. You are so missed, it's ridiculous! I still love you with all my heart. Jade misses you too.

I can't believe how long it's been. Tempus fugit. So much has happened in this world and in our lives. I'm glad you missed the world stuff though! I wish you were here for my big heartache.

Today we had a Celebration of you Life at Tom Campbell Hill, our old stomping grounds. It was beautiful to have nearly all your family there with us. It rained like crazy and I was thinking it was you, crying because we all got together for YOU! Later on, after the dinner was over, the sun was shining. I think that was you smiling and happy!
I'm pretty sure you were there to take in all the sights and sounds of the day. Your family really loves you and misses you.
I cried, like usual and will probably cry for you for a long, long time. I miss you sweet Doug, more than you could ever imagine. You left me too early. What I wouldn't do to have you here with me again. Love you forever. xo

It has been very painful to watch the suffering you have gone through these last months. God came and took you when you could not bear the pain any longer and has reunited you with Mom and Dad. We will miss your gentle nature and subtle wit. You were not one of many words but you always had that little smile that spoke those words that were not said.
I will miss our phone calls and your words of love but I know you are in a better place little brother which makes missing you more bearable. RIP Doug.
