Obituary of Ronald Howard DOBKINS
Ronald of Calgary, AB, passed away at home with his loving family at his side on February 17, 2019 at the age of 74 years.
Training racing horses brought Ronnie to Canada in 1977 and this love for the racing world and of horses prevailed throughout his lifetime. Ronnie (or Dobbies, as he was known to his mates) served Calgary and area as a realtor for forty plus years. His co-workers and clients often became lifelong friends, which can be attributed to his unique sense of humor, razor sharp wit, but most importantly his loving nature. Ronnie was a devoted, kind, and empathetic man; he will be missed terribly, but will be affectionately remembered by all.
Ronald is survived by his three children; Daniel, Wesley and Victoria Dobkins.
Funeral Services will be held at CALGARY CREMATORIUM CHAPEL, 3219 – 4th Street NW, (within the valley of Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Monday, February 25, 2019 at 2:00p.m.
