Obituary of Mary Katherine PLISKI
Mary Katherine Pliski beloved wife of the late Walter Pliski of Calgary, passed away on Tuesday, April 02, 2019 at the age of 87 years.
Mary was born in Nova Scotia to Henry and Elizabeth Entze. The family moved to Manitoba in 1934.
Mary was a quiet, kind, gentle soul who touched people with her loving ways. She met and married Walter Pliski of whom she was married for 49 years. Over the years she did various jobs including seamstress, health care but her favorite job was her last in which she worked seventeen years cleaning City Hall and the Police Station in Moose Jaw Saskatchewan. Mary’s favorite thing in life was her family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter Vickie and son-in-law Darrell Koester; granddaughter Krystal and grandson-in-law Luc Leblanc; great-granddaughter Kasia; sisters, Margaret Meagher, Helen Arnot as well as many nieces and nephews.
Mary was predeceased by her parents; her husband Walter, brothers Bud Entze, Lawrence Entze and sister Betty Pruden.
Funeral Services will be held at CALGARY CREMATORIUM CHAPEL, 3219 – 4th Street NW, (within the valley of Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Saturday, April 06, 2019 at 2:00 p.m.

The family would like to thank all the staff on Unit 72 at the Foothills Medical Centre as well as the staff at the Scenic Acres Retirement Home for the care that Mary received with them.
