Obituary of Laurence Austin Bolton

Please share a memory of Laurence to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

With profound sorrow, we announce the death of Laurence Austin Bolton. Laurence passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2019, at 87. He was born April 5, 1932 on the family farm in Saskatchewan, to Abraham and Ellen Zabolotny. His siblings were George, Al, Lucille, Walter, Tena, Nettie, Vicki, Floyd, Evelyn, Elaine, Terry, and Jean. He will be remembered by Eleanor, and Terry.

Laurence is mourned with immeasurable sadness and loss by his children, Terri, Dana, Tracy, and Mark (Gail).

He loved his grandchildren; Aaron (Chantel), Jordan, and Taylor Nisbett; Ross (Nina) Hart; Ben, Miles, and Grace Zabolotny. Laurence deeply cherished his great-grandchildren; Eden, Dax, Jackson, Aubree, Coleson, and Hudson. “Bunny” treasured every moment in life, and brought joy to his children, nieces, and nephews with the simple strum of his guitar.

He drove a truck for years, but loved farming the land on which he was born. The family farmed the land for one hundred years. He was proud of being the last to farm it.

Laurence was grateful for everything, and valued the people and animals he loved. He worked hard all his life, never asked for anything, yet always gave everything he had without a second thought. He was a good man, who lived life with quiet strength and kindness. He loved, and was loved deeply by those who shared his life. He will be greatly missed and always remembered.
