Obituary of Gurdev Singh Sidhu
Sardar Gurdev Singh Sidhu, beloved husband of Late Mrs. Surjit Kaur Sidhu of Calgary, Alberta (Aligarh, Punjab, India) passed away peacefully at his residence on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at the age of 92 years.
He will be lovingly remembered by his seven children, Parmjit Kaur Gill (Baljit Singh), Tej Kaur Chahal (Teja Singh), Harjinder Singh Sidhu (Baldev Kaur), Harjinder Kaur Grewal (Balveer Singh), Kuldip Kaur Gill (Bhupinder Singh), Surinder Kaur Dhaliwal (Gurverinder Singh), and Gurcharan Singh Sidhu (Kirandeep Kaur). He will also be remembered as beloved “Bapuji and Baji” by his nineteen grandchildren whom he dearly loved.
The family of Gurdev Singh Sidhu would like invite all extended family, friends, and community members to celebrate his life and sweet memories at CALGARY CREMATORIUM CHAPEL, 3219 – 4th Street NW, (within the valley of Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Sunday, September 1, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. Following the Service, there will be Antim Ardaas at the Dashmesh Culture Centre.
