Obituary of Katherine MUNDLE

Mom, Grandma, Great Grandma, Great-Great Grandma, Aunt Jessie, Mrs. Mundle, passed away peacefully with her family around her at the age of 99 years and 8 months. Jessie was a woman of many talents, finishing High School at the age of 14, then on to egg candler during the war years, seamstress, barber, baker, a hardwood floor layer, with her husband and at the age of 49 became a Nurse! Mom will be dearly missed by her children; Gordon Mundle, Frances (Edward) Southgate, Phyllis (Murray) Viznaugh; her brother David MacKinnon, sister Nellie Chapdelaine, brother Malcolm MacKinnon. She will be lovingly remembered by eleven grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by Merville, her husband of 52 years, two infant grandchildren, her brothers Rankin(Muriel), John (Lorraine) and Jim (Doreen); her sister Irene (William) sister-in-law Ruby. A Funeral Mass will be held at St Cecilia’s Catholic Church, 321- 90 Ave. S.E. Calgary, AB on Friday February 21, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. Please forward condolences through www.hffs.com.
