I wish to express my sincerest condolences to Robert's family upon his passing. My mother, Kaye, who I also recently lost, was a resident at the Manor Village. She was only there a year, in 2018, but Robert was the first person who welcomed her, and remained such a lovely friend during her stay. We enjoyed his interesting stories over lunch, were in awe of his musical and artistic talents, and especially loved his kindness to all he met.
One very special memory I have was during an afternoon event where a band came to play. My mom, who was blind, loved to hear the music and said it reminded her of the days when she and my dad danced. Oh how they loved to dance! Upon hearing her reminisce, Robert immediately asked her to dance, and up they got, doing a couple rounds of two-stepping! After that, they had that bond of being dance partners! Mom and I never forgot that very special moment.
Robert was one of a kind, and I am so sorry for your loss.
