Obituary of Nina SIMPSON
Nina Marie Simpson passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 7, 2019, at home with her loving family surrounding her.
Born on September 28, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Wiley and Eva Patterson. She was formerly of Huntington Point, Kings County. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She enjoyed animals, especially Tabby (her kitty cat), gardening and flowers, spending time with friends and family especially at the cottage and camping with Les and friends at the Rayport Campground. Crocheting, knitting, playing cards, reading, word find books and Parcheesi with her late friend Carol.
She is survived by her husband Leslie Wallace Simpson; three daughters Loretta (Richard) Croft of Glenmont Mountain, Laura (Steve Dominey) Simpson of Quispamsis, NB, Lisa (Spencer Howard) Wright of Calgary, AB and her son Scott (Cindy) Simpson of Canning; two sisters Esther (Keith) Bailey of Sheffield Mills, Brenda (Tony) Wetzel of Greenfield; seven grandchildren, twelve great- grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral Services will be held at Bethany Memorial Baptist Church, 539 Aldershot Road, Kentville, Nova Scotia on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Reverend Thelma MacDonald and Reverend Sarah Stevens officiating. Reception to follow at the Church
Burial will take place at a later date in the Elm Grove Cemetery, Steam Mill, Kings County, followed by a reception
