Obituary of Arthur Friedrich

Arthur Friedrich, beloved husband of Joan Friedrich (nee Durda) of Calgary, Alberta, passed away on while working in Mannheim Germany on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at the age of 68 years.

Arthur was born in Baddeckenstedt, Germany, raised in Hamilton Ontario, and came to call Calgary Alberta home.

Always a gentleman, always reading, he was widely known for his love of music, hunting, fishing and travel. We promise to take care of the orchids.

He will be sorely missed by all and especially by his wife Joan; children Charlotte, Andrea and James; five grandchildren Riley, Rowan, Charly, Evie and Anna. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at HERITAGE FUNERAL HOME, 1708 – 16^th Avenue NW (across from the North Hill Shopping Centre, Calgary)  on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. Reception to follow at the funeral home.
