Obituary of Patricia Ann Skippen

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia Ann Skippen on Thursday, November 28, 2019.

Always a very proud Calgarian, Pat was born here on March 23, 1926, and was a loyal fan and attendee of the Calgary Stampede. Her dedication was to her family, especially her grandchildren with whom she spent many hours of quality time. She was blessed with a fantastic sense of humour and an optimistic perspective of the world and the people within it. In addition to raising a family, Pat loved her jobs at both AGT and as a remarkably committed and skilled gift wrapper at the North Hill Mall Sears. She was a dedicated shopper, an annual Pickle Off Queen and had the admirable ability to make anyone feel like the most important person in the room.

Getting together with family and friends sharing a wee glass of wine was one of her favorite pass times.

Pat will be missed by many, including her daughter Carol (Murray) Pearce and sons Tom (Debbie) Fellows, Barry (Patti) Fellows; grandchildren Shelly (Klaus), Trish (Chris), Matt (Tasha), Adam (Sara), Ben (Megan) and Melissa (Tenzin) as well as seven great- grand children.  

Patricia is predeceased by the love of her life and husband, Dale Skippen and her sisters Helen Roberton and Mildred Baden. 
 

A Memorial Service will be held at HERITAGE FUNERAL HOME, 1708 – 16^th Avenue NW (across from the North Hill Shopping Centre, Calgary) on Friday, December 6, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. 

If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to a charity of your choice.
