Obituary of Marion Kathleen Foat

Marion Foat (nee Fiedler), beloved wife of the Late Wayne Foat of Calgary, passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side on Thursday, August 20, 2020 at the age of 92 years.

 

Marion spent her early years in the Cremona area where she went to school attending Olds College. She met Wayne and married shortly after.

 

They spent several years there farming before moving to Calgary where she supported her husband Wayne in their construction business venture.

 

She lived an active life involving lots of curling and enjoying her music and knitting hobbies. She had a zest for life and enjoyed wintering in Phoenix for several years. She also enjoyed visiting  family in Portland.

 

She will be remembered for her of caring and her great sense humour.  She was always providing a comment, or a situation that brought laughter to the room.  

 

Marion is survived by her daughter Terri Foat of Calgary.

 

Marion was predeceased by her spouse Wayne and daughter Nancy.

 

At Marion’s request there will be no public service.
