It is with deep, heartfelt loss that we announce the passing of Angelika “Angie” Slattery; she passed away on Wednesday, August 21st, 2020.

Angie was born on Aug. 13, 1948 in Elmshorn, Germany to Arnold and Adelina Errelat. Angie was a former Canadian Military Executive, for her service she was awarded the Canada 125 medal from the Governor General of Canada and a Letter of Appreciation from the former Prime Minister, Jean Chrétien. Angie was a remarkable woman who openly shared her humor, stories, and acts of kindness. She was generous and selfless.

Angie will be forever loved and deeply missed by her son Kres Slattery (Krizzia), her grandchildren Stefan and Brayden Slattery (Sophona), Kristian, Erik, and Emily Allan, her great grandchildren Isaiah, Gabriella, Aurora, Ellie, Elfie and Violet, her brother Udo Errelat (Donna), her niece Brianna Errelat and many other loving family and friends. 

 

Relatives and Friends are invited to her Funeral Mass at 1100 am on Saturday, September 19th  at The Way Christian Mission Fellowship, 4909-17th Avenue, Unit 303, SE Calgary, AB  T2A 0V5. The  Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 pm at Queens Park Cemetery, 3219 4 St NW, Calgary AB T2M 3A6.
