Obituary of Margaret SCOTT

Ann Scott, beloved wife of Peter Scott, passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at the age of 79 years. Ann was the oldest sister to Georgina and Eileen and moved to Calgary in the early forties. She attended school at Haultain and graduated from Western Canada high school in 1952. She met the love of her life, Peter in 1949 and later married in 1954. Together they raised four wonderful children, who gave her eleven grandchildren, and one great-grandchild, all of them whom she loved dearly. Ann was active in a variety of sports such as golf, curling, skating and walking, as well as gardening. She spent a large part of her time supporting all her children and grandchildren in all of their activities. She also cherished life and her time spent with her many friends. Ann is survived by her loving husband Peter of fifty-nine years; four children, Cheryl (Brad) Denhoff, Greg (Shirley) Scott, Todd (Karen) Scott, Georgia (Greg) Bolin all of Calgary; grandchildren, Nicole (Nick) Janz, Ryan Denhoff, Ailie Scott, Rory Scott, Kent Scott, Trevor Scott, Brian Scott, Kevin Scott, Dale Bolin, Kimberly Bolin, Brett Bolin; and great-granddaughter Payton. She is also survived by her two sisters Georgina (Mike) Rogers of England, and Eileen (Heinz) Kaul of Vernon, B.C. A Memorial Service will be held at CALGARY CREMATORIUM CHAPEL, 3219 – 4th Street N.W., (within the valley of Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Thursday, July 4, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Agapé Hospice, 1302 - 8 Avenue N.W., Calgary, AB T2N 1B8 Telephone: (403) 282-6588.
