I have great memories of Gary sparring with us young engineers in the old Shell gas department. He was extremely quick witted. We didn't dare take him on! And Gary was our leader when it came to "socialization". I still have a picture in my mind of Gary standing beside a pool table with a cigarette in his teeth, a beer in one hand and a pool cue in the other. He was our hero!

We send our sincere sympathy to all of Gary’s family. I (Jan) worked with Gary at Shell Canada and always appreciated his good humour. We (Gord and Jan) shared bleachers and laughs over the years that our daughters played fastball at Shouldice. It was always very obvious that Gary was a proud father and we’re sure a proud grandfather. Sending positive thoughts and energy. Gord and Jan Rowley
