Obituary of Chih Ping Stephen Ho

Stephen Chih Ping Ho beloved husband of Joanne Yuan Man (nee Chieh) of Calgary, passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at the age of 76 years.

 

何志平Chih Ping was born in Gu-Lang-Yu, Fujian, China     (中国，福建，鼓浪屿) on 1944四月九 日.  He grew up and was educated in Taiwan.  Chih Ping graduated from Taiwan National University with a Bachelor degree in Chinese Literature, and then from Dong-Hai University with a Masters degree in Chinese Literature.

 

Chih Ping married Yuan Man on 1972 September 24.  Alice, their daughter, was born on 1973 November 8. They immigrated to Canada on 1974 February 1.

 

Chih Ping was a devoted and loving husband and father who was very dedicated to his family, and worked hard to support his family and raise his daughter.  He was highly intelligent and a self-taught university level mathematician.  He will be remembered for his gentle nature and kindness.
