Obituary of Grace Mildred Patton

Please share a memory of Grace to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Graces three sons, F Michael, Peter R, and Paul B; wish to announce that their mother has gone to God with a good conscience.

Grace was a rare one; she had a faith that looks through death. Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world have mercy on Grace M. Patton.

We are told that in time we will forget Grace’s passing there are those who have already stated that they have “forgotten what grandma looked like”, or that they felt “rushed” in their last encounters with her, perhaps even were waiting “to take it out of an inheritance”.

Let it be known that Grace was bold, independent, vibrant and out spoken, and yes, an unforgettable character.

When remembering her, be warned, Grace’s memory is a force, a spirit not to be tampered with. Grace was cherished and respected, known as “Graceful Grace”, a proud Calgarian, Alberta and Canadian.

Grace will be missed. Mom will be remembered.

Mother

“A mother’s love is something,

That no one can explain,

It is made if deep devotion,

And of sacrifice and pain,

It is endless and unselfish,

And enduring, come what may,

For nothing can destroy it,

Or take that love away.”

A private family memorial service will be held at a Later date at Queens Park Cemetery.

If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the War Amputations of Canada, National Headquarters, 2827 Riverside Drive, Ottawa, ON K1V 0C4, www.waramps.ca .
