Obituary of Gurbachan Kaur Dhoot
Gurbachan Dhoot, beloved wife of the late Kirat Dhoot of Calgary, passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at the age of 81 years.
Gurbachan was born in Dingrian, Punjab, India on June 16, 1939. She moved to Calgary, Alberta , Canada in 1974
Gurbachan married Kirat in 1956.
Gurbachan had a passion for gardening and loved talking to family and friends over the phone.
Gurbachan’s most memorable vacation was when she visited India.
Gurbachan is survived by her son Amritpal Singh Dhoot and daughter-in-law Sukhvinder Kaur Dhoot of Calgary, Alberta; six grandchildren, four reside in the USA and two here in Canada.
Gurbachan is also survived by her three brothers and three sisters-in-law of India; one sister of India; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at CALGARY CREMATORIUM CHAPEL, 3219 – 4th Street NW.
