Obituary of William Arthur Wallace
William Wallace, beloved husband of the late Linda, has passed away at the age of 80 years.
Linda and William were married for fifty four wonderful years. Unfortunately, Linda passed on Tuesday, August 26, 2014. William and Linda met on a blind date after William had joined the Armed Forces in Calgary. They soon married and had four beautiful children, William Wallace Jr. – passed in 1988, Joshua Wallace – passed in 1996, Jeffery Wallace and Allison (Thordsen) Wallace. William’s grandchildren are David Wallace, Jenna Wallace, Brittany (Keeler) Thordsen and Michael Housden, all whom reside in Calgary. William has six brothers and sisters, Marilyn, Olive, Sandra, Maxwell, Doug, Tom and Lesle who passed.
William was a long haul Trucker for many years and had many great stories of life on the road. But most importantly, William loved and cherished his wife and family with all his heart.
A family graveside service will be held at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens “Garden of Heritage”, Lower Springbank Road and 17th Avenue SW.
